Long grain brown rice (unpolished).
No preservatives or additives.
Do not consume raw.
Stovetop Cooking Instructions
1 cup of rice = 3 servings
- In a 2-quart saucepan, combine 1 cup rice, 2 ΒΌ cups water, 1 tsp salt (optional), and 1 tbsp oil, margarine or butter (optional).
- Stir lightly, bringing water to a rolling boil. Reduce heat and cover with a tight-fitting lid and let simmer for 30-40 minutes.
- Remove from heat and keep covered for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving.
